Is the Rear Entertainment system the Lexus factory option or an aftermarket headrest mounted set up?
The factory RES uses the dash CD/DVD player and has on screen controls, choose rear to play the DVD
and then source your driver's media (all except CD...). You can even watch the DVD up front in Park + Parking Brake.
If yours has the DVD's playing in each headrest you have aftermarket components. These actually have some
advantages: 1) can play two (2) different DVD at once. 2) Driver can play a CD up front. 3) Screens pivot back
and forth to aim downward for smaller viewers. These play DVD audio through the main stereo as an FM
station so can only play Driver's media if the children are using headphones. Barney anyone?
