Default lx570 snow driving, - annoying

(No stranger to LX family, had a 06, 08, 15 and now a 18 been to crazy snow storms and rain whether where most cars are stuck on side. I have these cars so I can use them the way they are made for)

Having said that I took my 18 out for the first time in the snow storm last weekend in the east cost. Wife and kids wanted to go out for couple of hrs to north PA mountain area and back, while about 1 hr into the trip the snow started accumulating. The cars parking sensors went crazy and I stopped and cleaned once. 2nd time I just disabled them.

Now 20 mins later the collision system light came out, it didn't like the snow on the front I am guessing but I had no idea how to turn it off while driving. Now mind you this is when you are concentrating not to get stuck somewhere. I figured if I push the precollison button on the wheel it would do something - it did mute the beeps but I could still see the yellow light flashing. it was very annoying- enough to make me think of getting rid if it of the LX and get a older one

I was missing my 2015-or the 2008 I wish I kept that ...I never had these issues with that car, yes it never had the pre-collision but it never beeped and had different lights on the dash.

The suv itself handled the snow like a camp, we were able to go north and come back safely, kids had a blast playing in deep snow. I know I am probably complaining about nothing but I wished Lexus had some logic where it knows if its cold + snow disable pre collision , or give us an option of disabling it quickly. to think of it can we disable it ?

On your Owner’s Manual Page 254, you can disable or changed the warning behaviors. There are setting can be changed from center cluster display.
