Default Balky Shifter?

I guess I shouldn't surprised that a 7-year-old car with 90k miles would be a little grumpy when it's cold...but, can you guys relate to a tight/binding feeling in the shifter when your trucks are cold? It seems most pronounced going from drive to park when 40 degrees or colder. Is this anything you'd worry about? Thanks.

My GX does this exact thing, i have a 2014 with 140k miles, my dad has a 2018 with 10k miles and his gear shifter is buttery smooth, mine feels hard and stiff. It's difficult to shift into gears.

Check Toyota/Lexus on line. Iirc, Toyota issued a Service Bulletin regarding updating trans shift pattern coding. I test drove a '13 LX prior to finding a better deal on the '13 Land Cruiser. The LX shifted about like jello.

This sounds odd, but people on ih8mud reported this as well. They cleaned the MAF and throttle body to fix the issue.
