just bought a brand new Lexus LX570 with the sport package two days ago.
when I heard that the new LX next year will be a v6 turbo charged vehicle I had to purchase this one now. I didn’t want the v6.
the car has been amazing. Driven 240 miles already.
couldn’t been more pleased.

Thanks to both of you.
If what the internet says is true that the 2022 LX 600 will be a turbo charged v6 - I think sales will go way down. No one will be interested in that.
I feel like I got the LX in its peak form - years to work out all the bugs and a legendary reliable 5.7L engine. I love the shifter, buttons, and real dials in the car.
We also own a Merc GL 450. It doesn't even have a shifter. It has one of those cheap levers next to the steering wheel to change gears. Everytime we take the GL 450 out, were worried its going to say need engine service, or engine oil low, or something like that. People are tired of unreliable german cars.

Congrats on the new vehicle. I love the white color, but somehow I've not had the courage to buy a white vehicle. The front grill looks very nice on the newer model. I'm not sure that has a lot of clearance for this vehicle. But it is nice nonetheless.

The seats feel awesome.
Way better than the Mercedes GL/GLS.
Also, I tried the Volvo XC 90 and the lexus seats feel way better.
I'm 5'10'' 180 lbs and I have no issues with the seats.

The white looks amazing in person. I'd go with that color or black.
Just don't get a 2022 with the turbo charged engine. It's ridiculous that anyone would consider paying this much for a v6 turbo.

One the other hands, NO ONE have seen the NEW LX yet so just not bashing it whether it is V6TT or the old school V8. Would you still trash it for V6TT + Batt for 500 HP and 30 mpg?

I don't know, i was on board getting the new ls500 until I drove it, I mean it was great but just not as smooth as I was expecting coming from a ls460. needless to say I ended up getting a new GSF. for the LX lets see if they can get more then 30 mpg it would be a huge upgrade from our 15mpg.

Fair enough.
I know its not the fault of lexus. It's those environmental liberals/democrats that are causing the shift to smaller more fuel efficient engines. The MPG is not really a concern for those who buy a 104k MSRP vehicle. Given the option of having an equivalent power/driving experience of a smaller hybrid vs a 5.7 L engine, I'd take the 5.7 NA engine and pay more gas. People want a 10 ounce filet mignon. They don't want a 6 ounce with potates and a salad. They went to a steak house for a steak.
