Hello everyone,

I just purchased a 2011 LX570 with 62k miles on it as I've been wanting an LX or Land Cruiser for years and I couldn't pass it up. One thing I wish it had was Apple CarPlay. My 2018 4Runner didn't have it, but I sure would like to see if there's something out there that I can install in the LX to have the CarPlay functionality. I have had zero luck, locally, and I was hoping someone in this forum might have some ideas that have actually been installed and work.

I won't be disappointed if there isn't a trustworthy option as I've never had it on any of my vehicles in the past. If there's an option, I don't know if I'll get rid of the LX in the next 10 years.

Check with Lsailt, their option seems pretty good. I have installed their products for both my 2014 GX and 2016 LX, the unit for 2014 GX is the same one also for for your 2011 LX. They also have the options for 4 Runner and other Toyota and Lexus. Installation is straight forward, all plug and play. Here are the results of my GX and LX:

There is no specific model #, just look for model year. In fact, 2015 or earlier LX, uses same box for LC200 and GX, and most of Lsailt box are configurable for all Lexus line. The only two categories are touch screen based and Lexus remote touch based.

Yeah, there was no 2012 so that is the one I saw. I have an 09.

Trucks made in 2012 were sold as 2013's. Mine shows a mfg date of 2/12.
