Unhappy Rear Driver Wheel Hot after 5k miles service.

Hello LX experts,
I have a 2019 LX570 and I just got back from the dealership and noted a burning smell.
I put my hands on the rear wheel and this think was really hot on the center where it’s mounted on the hub.
It was in for a combo 5K and 10K service where they rotated the wheels and changed the oil. Now at 6500 miles
could it be something with the parking brakes?

I also complained about a slipping transmission which typically happens when after driving down hill and then going back up hill it seemed like it took a while for the transmission to catch up. The engine revs for like 5 seconds where it feels like the tranny is in neutral. Almost seems like all the tranny fluid has rolled to the forward when going downhill and so when it flattens out to go back uphill it seems like it’s missing the fluid to pump? They couldn’t duplicate it.

I did get the missing towing wiring install at no charge though.

Any suggestions folks?

When you said “rear wheel hot”, is it just a wheel, or both? Maybe there is a stacked parking break pad…..

To clarify, I should say both the center of the wheel and the hub.
Thanks

Normally they should be warm. If they were hot to touch, then it could be issues. First place to check would be the parking breaks.
