Been in contact with the local Lexus dealership. Anyone that bought a new one recently can you share if you were able to negotiate anything off MSRP? I was thinking 5% off but haven't negotiated with dealer thus far, truecar shows 5% but not sure how accurate that site is.

i think getting 5% off is a good deal in today's market - if you can find one. before 2020 i'd say 10% is a good target and there were $5000+ incentives out there.
I'm glad i bought my 18 last year before this madness. Certified with 10k miles for $70,000

Congrats on the purchase! You picked a good time to buy. A year later and it's a totally different market. Before recently buying my used LX I had a couple of casual sales conversations at our local dealers and none of them were willing to discount more then 2%-3% off MSRP on new 2021 LXs.

I posted this info in another thread recently, but I'll add it here.
In early May, I received an email quote from a Maryland dealer offering a 2.28% discount on a car at $102K. I didn't reply to that offer, but it appears they sold the car and the several others they had.
I also tried getting quotes on a 2020 CPO from a PA dealer who would not give any hint of discount over email or text from their listed CPO price, which was close to the full price of a loaded 2021.
My closest dealer in PA has two black LX with a sport package/larger grill for $104K. They also have a used 21 in silver/red for $95k. I'd like a good price and those aren't my favorite color/option choices. It's not looking like a great time for buying.
As a side note, I've been researching the RX for a family member, and the latest info from that forum showed low to no discount. However, a few of my desired trims (lux with Mark Levinson) have appeared on local lots this week. Most have sold already, but it made me hope the supply issues are resolving.
Good luck to all.

Makes me wonder sometimes who’s looking at these forums. I had a similar experience years ago with my GS where people were saying that sticker price was what the cars were going for. I don’t know about you guys but i’m never paying sticker. Here is an email I got from a dealer at the end of march and it didn’t include “Lexus cash” which was available at the time.

Some state it will be based on the LC200 (current gen LX) others state it will be the LC300 platform that had the international launch/info session from Toyota today. new frame is 200kg lighter but still more rigid and stronger. but it will have a 3.5V6TT with 409hp and 479lbft , that does not mean that the 5.7 V8 is dead in the LX
Last weekend when the dealer contacted me again they informed the 2022 would have significant changes, but did not share more info...

In California LX are hard to find.
I now have a dilemma.
I really love nori with caramel interior. But dealer wants MSRP and it’s about 8 hours from me.
Local dealer has my 2nd choice. Atomic silver with black interior. But offering $4k off MSRP.
I end up choosing the atomic silver. But i am really torn (haven’t picked up- the car is still at port).
