Default 300 Series introduced...

...all over the world, except dammit, North America.

Toyota 300 Series Intro

Lots of videos included...not a North American mall cruiser in the bunch.

Enjoy and cry at the same time.

That is so true. My dealer had 7 a month ago and now has 2, both a 2 row. I am anxious to see what engines they put into the LX. I guess if I want a V-8, I will have to an LC500!

Toyota says the LX will get a dual turbo V6 in the North American market.

If the new NX trademarking NX250, NX350, and NX350h is any indication, next gen LX should still offer a V8 option !

It's just a matter of time when we can no longer find V8 or V6/I6 or ICE engines in general. ICE will be replaced by electric and most of us will still be around to see such evolution. The more cylinders you have the 'smoother' the vehicle should feel, but vice versa for fuel economy. Most Users aim for power, mileage and MPG now. Will the next 400 series (or maybe 500 series) be electric? Will our NA V8 goes up in value like the old Mustangs / Camaro / Porsche 993 etc? Only time can tell. but by then if I still have my 200 series V8, it'll probably have 250k miles if not more... It'll probably still be driving nicely and all things working, but need some touch up to make it 'looks nice' - leather / carpet / frame off repaint etc.

I’m sure it will grow on me but that body looks a little boxy. I do love that they are bringing the F-Sport badge to the LX though. I guess it’s just a waiting game to see the end product

I hate the turbo lag in my Q8. I may have to pull the trigger on one of the last NA V8’s.

The new Infotainment for LC300/LX has not really been leaked, but if the NX is a glimpse of the new LX infotainment UI it might be a welcome upgrade.
