Two horses in a Charmac trailer, cords of wood in a fully loaded 16 foot 2 axle trailer and a Kubota tractor on the same trailer separate from the wood..

I just towed my camper 500 miles through upstate NY. Averaged 10 mpg at 70-75 mph. It's very light (~2500 lbs), so can really only feel it back there above 50 mph when the wind resistance makes itself known. I'll also be towing an open car trailer and M3 race car soon, which will be about 5500 lbs combined, but has much less aero drag, so should see better mpg despite the higher weight.

I've towed a 6500lb camper multiple times. Tows great. Plenty of power. Hydraulic suspension levels the LX out perfectly.

Wow this is great news. I have been kicking around getting a 27-29 camper lately to tow with LX. Would you consider it an overall good tow with the RV?

The LX is a great tow rig. It’s heavy so the trailer doesn’t push you around. Plenty of power. Paddle shifters are great to use while towing. Hydraulic suspension is great for leveling the LX.

Only thing that would make it even better for towing campers is bigger mirrors.

Tundra has extended telescoping mirrors that may fit.

We towed 1,600 miles last fall (from Ohio to Vermont and back again) with our LX. We were towing our "stealth" camper and had no issues whatsoever. I don't have the exact weight, but approx 5,000 lbs with full water tanks. I will give some (a lot of) credit to our ProPride Hitch, which I *love* for a smooth towing experience!
