Default Lx 600 ?

Just Wondering if anybody out there has heard the rumor that the LX 600 is being revealed this fall and will become available for purchase in 2022 ? Or is it going to be a 2022 reveal and a 2023 purchase availability ?

One of the reasons I am asking is after months of searching for a LX I finally found a white inspiration series that I am interested in, but if in 6 months the completely updated version is going to be available, I figure I might as well wait.

Afaik, you'll won't get the V8 on the "new" LX.

I wouldn't wait for the new LX if I were in your situation, No details yet on release date or what specifications will be offered for US models, plus it won't have the V8. The current 200-series also has almost 15 years of tested reliability and refinements to it, so it might be awhile before the 300-series is fully sorted out (relatively speaking).

Nothing official has been released. There actually are rumors that a new V8 will still be offered but seems like a long shot in my opinion. Hope I'm wrong though!

What’s the risk in waiting, unless you have to have a V8. I am hoping the new LX will be even more luxurious than current model. Looks to have fold flat seats, Apple Car Play and hopefully better gas mileage.

I am definitely waiting to see and test drive once it comes out. Check out the IH8Mid forum and the 300 series speculation sub forum. Some interesting rumors.

I'm sure...

There's a lot of guessing, but no solid info out there, imo.

Definitely no long term experience as you'll find with the 200 Series.

Right. Close enough. Makes my point, go to that website for relevant updates. Pretty dead here 👎

Any info on new stuff here typically follows mud by a week or 2.

There is not to much official info out there, but the dealer we have been in contact with told me that is we wait for the fall there would be a new model, but he has not disclosed any specific details

Those are the rumors I heard as well. Just rumors for now. I cannot see paying what the 21’s are fetching, when the redesigned model is almost here. Then again, I don’t have to have a V8, so I’m my case the LX 600 is a major step up.

Go here... mud seems to have better G2 on upcoming 600 Series trucks. The Carbuzz article is interesting, as is the entire mud website related to upcoming Cruiser and LX info.

There will be no V8. Go watch the LandCruiser release videos. It's going to have a twin turbo 6 and a hybrid at some point.
