Default 2018 LX 570 Two Row...Transmission "Slipping"

I have a 2018 LX 570 with about 35K miles of mostly highway.

I seems to have a slipping /"reaching" transmission that moderately seems to look for next gear. Just irritating and with warranty to expires next year I am wondering what experiences if any members have had?

Not all the time but very noticeable to me.

Thanks...TomMaRTIN

You can try changing the fluid & make sure the computer has the most recent software update. A little more info on what it is doing. Hot/ cold, what RPM & what speeds.
Mine does this catching up RPM flair after slowing down to 5 MPH & accelerating back up. The trans has to catch back up before shifting into 2nd gear, (Really if it stayed in 2nd it would not be a problem) That issue is normal, my Tundy does the same thing & yes it's anoying.

When u said the tranny maybe slipping... u notice the rpm - did the rpm rev when the vehicle was going nowhere / no response? What speed and gear were you at when the concern arises? What happened if u were to press down on the pedal (slightly more, not gunning it), rpm should go higher but did the tranny engage? accelerated ??

Little more info needed - curious if it's when coming to a stop then you hit the gas. Fairly common to feel "slipping" or what i'd call hunting right before you come to a full stop.

if the symptom occurs during initial acceleration (stop to go), you can do a 'stall test' to see if the tranny (gear 1) is failing.

Sorry...just didn't get back to followup. I will have to observe more closely to better describe symptoms. I think it sometimes searches when low to moderate power applied at lower speeds...but I need to note it more carefully. Heading on 2000 mile trip tp CA next week so that may be a good time to specifically note when it "slips". It does appear to be an "irritant" that I would not have expected.

I will try to respond when we are in CA. Thanks...TomMartin.

Sat at a parking lot, or something less than / up to about 30mph, foot pedal pretty much 'constant' / cruising and slightly accel but vehicle doesn't seem to shift / want to shift / something's odd? Mercedes does that too... it's the way the software is programmed... not slipping imo. Do a stall test (since u'll be going on 1st / 2nd gear.) if stall test ok then at least 1st gear is ok.... then engage in '2nd' gear start, do another stall test, if ok too, then u r fine.
