Exclamation LX570 - Lane Departure Alert System Malfunctioning

Hello Lexus owners,
I own a 2016 LX 570 and am new to this forum. The LDA malfunctioning issue (attached pics) still exist after I took it TWICE to the Lexus dealership in Houston, Texas. They changed the LDA system twice and the message still keeps coming back over and over. This time I took to another Houston based Lexus dealership and they are currently looking into the issue.

Is someone else having a similar issue? Please share your experience and the details of the diagnosis. Thank you in advance.

I recently have the same message on my 2017 LX. It was the steering wheel vibrating motor going bad. Luckily my vehicle was still under extended Lexus warranty. Otherwise it would have cost me around $1100. Talking to tech who fixed it, the motor replacement takes about 3 hrs to replace.

Thanks! Will update the technician at the dealership with this info. I have the extended Lexus warranty as well, bought with the Certified Lexus LX570 purchase.

Please see attached video where I have also noticed the steering wheel shaking/rattles more than normal. Any thoughts?

are you still on OEM Dunlop tires? My vehicle used to shake a lot too on these tires. Ever since I changed to Toyo (not my first choice, but that was the only tire available in US last year other than OEM as all other were OOS), it is driving extremely smooth now.

Sorry for the late reply
The weather is warmer now and I don't see the AHC message anymore and when I manually lift it. It works fine on all three levels.
What is the code scan tool you have? how much does it cost? do you sell them on Amazon? and factory Toyota TechStream software how does this software help?
Can you give more info

thanks

I just left it there unfixed to this day. However, I did have my dealership fix the AC in 2023. It costs $3500. On the previous year back in 2022, I paid over $1k to fix the AC because it blew only hot air. Last week, my water pump, thermostat and driver belt went out. It cost me $1,250.

Is there a way to completely turn off the lane departure vibration? I know it can be switched to audio; but I would prefer nothing. Thanks

I don’t know how to turn it off, but it is not feasible for me to fix it. I just left it there unfixed.
