Default 2023 LX 600 F Sport

After a little over 1 year of searching I have been able to locate a LX 600 F sport at MSRP due to a customer backing out of a order. The F sport is fully loaded and if I was to purchase it I would be taking the 22 inch wheels off and installing 18 inch wheels and tires. And I know alot of people are going to say , " why don't you just buy a LX 600 Premium ? ". My reasoning is I want the AHC for ground clearance and approach/departure angles for some of the uses I will have for it and I prefer the F sport rear suspension as well.

I was wondering if anyone has recently gone from a LX 570/landcruiser into the LX 600 F sport and if you feel it was a 100 percent upgrade from A to Z = interior fit and finish, road handling, engine, build quality, and off road ability. Is there anyone who is disappointed with the new LX 600 vs. the LX 570 or the other vehicle competition that is out there for sale. With changing the wheels and tires I will have approximately $ 118,000.00 in the purchase so I am just trying to do my homework.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank You.

I have an LX570. I am wait listed for a 600. I plan to keep both. They are so rare, I haven’t been able to drive a new one. However I poked around a sold one for some time. To me it appears the fit and finish remains about the same…which is to say excellent. Because it is still, under all that grill, a Land Cruiser, I think it will have the same bullet proof design.

I have the “base” 2019 2-row, which included AHC. I want a base 600 because I can’t get myself to pay the roughly 15-20k adder to get the sport or luxury…the only practical models with AHC, ventilated front/rear seats, etc. However, if I could muster it, I’d be doing the same thing you are doing. Send pics when you have made the change, it’ll be cool 😎.

Personally, I would keep 22" rims. They are top-notch in quality AND FORGED! Unless you're into major off-roading, those rims plus decent tires should get you to camp grounds, mountain roads to cabin, etc..

You are right, they are beautiful wheels, but I am looking for more sidewall and the type of tires I am looking for you can not get in 22's.

I was able to inspect the 22” wheels at my local dealer on a black f sport while it was getting ready for a customer. I had my lx570 2018 for service and honestly the 1” difference isn’t that noticeable at all. I agree with Tigmd, the 21” have not limited me to go anywhere and i mean i take that thing backroad cabins, sand beaches etc
Just came back from Dallas and was in a bunch of places near the smokies, round trip around 4500 miles 3 weeks. The LX is amazing to drive, i am just holding off since from a 18 to 22/23 i dont see much of upgrade to pay 10/20 k over msrp i the missing tailgate is almost a deal breaker. We use that tail gate as a bench / cooking area for my small stove etc

Hi, I have both the 2021 LX570 and the 2023 LX600 F-Sport. While I wouldn't say it's a 100% upgrade, the differences are night and day. I now have factory car play, wifi, and touch screen. Other than that, I would say both are comparable. The seats in the F-Sport definitely have a different feel though.
