Default Silent mode? Really Silent ('23 LX600 FSport)

Wife drives the '23 LX600. This week at some point, all audio/sound stopped emitting from the vehicle. No Carplay, no satellite radio, no fm radio, no chimes or bells. It's a silent ride.

I've cleared out any BT devices, I did the press/hold power on the infotainment to reset. Nothing is bringing back even FM Radio.

Any ideas? She doesn't tend to be a random feature finder or button pusher - so I'm wondering if this a setting somewhere called silent mode, or if we have our first functional warranty claim on any Lexus we've owned?

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds or more - that may reset things. If that doesn’t work, head to the dealer. Also, make sure a have video evidence to show dealer.

Yeah - I did try the disconnect negative battery terminal idea. Let it sit for a few minutes, and then reconnected. Did not work.

Its easily reproducible, so off to the dealer it goes.

Update... Dealer says they've diagnosed it to the ML amplifier. They are requesting approval from Lexus for a warranty change out. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be approved. Anyone know if or how badly parts are on back order? I mean, I only have one key right now. LOL. The other is backordered.

That's a weird one. I only have one key as well, but certain parts like an ML amp should be available. Any news yet?

I've had no issues with my '23 F Sport at all, aside from the first weekend only having wireless Carplay setup (I loathe wireless Carplay in any car, always issues), which turned into pausing audio, confused or silent audio from directions vs. music, etc. Deleted all connections, and went back to a normal wired Carplay connection with cable--and it's been flawles since. I've never had a single wireless Carplay car that didn't have delaying, pausing or audio oddities, so glad Lexus kept the wired connection.

Yours is a different issue. Keep us posted how/when it gets fixed!

May be a dumb question but how do you get CarPlay to work wired instead of wirelessly? Hoping this may help my bass loss issue after a phone call.

I think you plug it into the USB-A port (not USB-C) on the middle dash
