Default Range of LX600

What’s the range in terms of mileage per full fuel tank are you guys getting?
I was able to test drive an LX600 F sport at my dealership and to be frank, I’m in love with it.
I know the advertised MPG is 17/22MPG with 21gal(???) fuel tank. But what is the real world figure?
I became a little concerned when I saw a YouTube video with the reviewer showing 200something miles range for a full tank of gas. And he wasn’t doing off road. Just a family trip.

I believe mine says around 362 miles after a fill up, which seems accurate. Although I usually fill up before it gets below a quarter of a tank. For me, its a non-issue.

Now that I think of it, I just checked my app. It says 205 miles remaining and this is after a 160 mile trip across CT from MA to NY state started with a full tank.

I have abut 9300 miles on my LX 600 and the average mpg since I got the car stands at 15.9. When I fill up the miles to empty is usually between 285 to 300. Where I live is very hilly and I probably drive about 1/3 hiway and 2/3 city. My previous LX 570 had about 60,000 miles and averaged 13.8 when I traded it.

My average is 12.4 mpg, heavy city traffic, but better than lx570 with average 10 mpg heavy city traffic.

362? Are you referring to miles or kilometers?
I just filled up an empty tank and it showed 236.

It’s very believable. If you’re getting 17-19MPG ,which is very doable on the LX600, and your commute is not mostly city and traffic driving then the 21gal tank would give you between 360-400mile range.
With 236mi range, that’s 11MPG on a LX600. Which probably means you’re doing a lot of city driving with a lot of stop and go.

That's weird. I did post a picture with my post above. And now it's gone. Anyway, yes, 2022 LX600.

Excellent point. I am not sure how it calculates the range, but I imagine its based on your average MPG. Mine is 19.6 which I haven't reset in 15K miles. But the math doesn't quite come out right. 19.6 x 21 gallon tank is 411 mile range. So maybe there are other factors going into the range calculation.

I do mostly highway driving.

Lexus is being conservative and leave 3gal in reserve. At least this is my understanding when the fuel warning light comes on.
Don’t try this but if you pay attention to range and the mileage driven when the fuel warning light comes on, you always gets more mileage then the range left number.

Thanks for the clarification, it makes sense now.
I've been pumping gas when light comes on which usually ends up at 18+/- gal.
