What wheels did you get to replace the stock F sport wheels? Are they 18s?

Stock F Sport wheels is back on and I don't feel any shaking. I do get some vibrations from the suspension going over bumps on the road (mentioned above). But nothing that is alarming.

Hi all, I looked at the LX600 parts diagram. If I see the correct parts list, the rear springs of F sport is different, the 4 shocks and front springs are same on all trims.
You would think, the front springs are responsible for the ride feel, and it certainly does.. but in this case, they have put a stronger springs in the rear, it's the last thing we feel as a driver up our spine.

In my opinion, when you modify the spring rate, you should also change the damper of the shock to match. (unless they electronically turn higher with the adjustable actuator within F-sport's ECU programming, but I doubt it because of how it feels to me) Seems like lazy effort on Lexus about this F-sport variation. They were probably going for stiffer rear, less body roll, more oversteer. The rear spring is more active (what we feel as busy) and the damper is underdamped. IMO the comfort is compromised, and I saw some reviewers also feel that way.

I would think you can buy the regular rear spring and swap it in, and it would ride like normal trim.

I had those Defenders on a Yukon Denali. Great tires in all conditions.

Nice looking LX. The LX looks great in black,

Default Did you get the E or SL rated Michelin defender ltx m/s 275/50/22

With this size, there is slightly more sidewall than stock size as well as in inch more in width.

An interesting topic!
I noticed the same vibration problem on my LX 600 2022.
Vibration at speeds of 30-50 miles or more. A little tremor on the rear headrests and seats, it is also felt in front) In summer I use Yokohama Geolander X-CVs 265 50 22 inches (from factory), for winter Pirelli Ice Zero 285 45 22 inches. I also checked the wheels first, did balancing 2 times, but couldn't find anything.

What trim is it? F-Sport or Luxury?

Def not the E rated. 10 ply will make things worse.
It is the P275 tire, so I believe 8 ply, or whatever the standard is

still some jitter, but much better than it was

Very nice, what is the height difference? Does the profile look better from the front and rear?

thanks!

Have no idea on height difference - didn’t measure. Profile from front to rear, side to side looks fine to me.

HarkinBank could you please do a photo from the side profile. Standing from the corner of the tailgate looking forward. I'd like to see how much wider a 285 tire is. I'm currently running the Defender LTX in 275/50
