Default Exiting in a water emergency?

Someone here recently died when she drove her Tesla into a pond and with electric windows could not get out. I carry a special hammer to break a window, but I understand that the LX has laminated glass that won’t break.

Any ideas on how to get out of a sunken LX600?

Drive with your windows down. All kidding aside, I think that is the only safe bet given the laminated glass

if the windows (and the roof) won't break, wait for the water to start filling up then u can open the windows with much less force...

Default Sunroof

I just noticed that the sunroof is tempered, not laminated glass. Perhaps breaking that is the way out.

Does anyone know if the electric windows will operate under water in the LX?

Just don’t drive your LX into water. Problem solved.😎

The Tesla had all controls in touchscreen and she touched the wrong surface. Fortunately, Lexus cars aren't as badly designed.

I would wait until pressure equalizes and just open the door.
