When I was in Colorado this week, I noticed a squealing/grinding noise from my front brakes upon coming to a complete stop. My dealer said this has been an issue with the LX. They removed and resurfaced both front rotors, replaced front brake pads, shims, and fit kit. My 2022 LX has 42,000 miles. They said Lexus is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. The work was done under warranty. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sometimes if it's surface rust / residue, driving it for a few miles will resolve itself. if the rotors are glazed (likely due to heat), then noise can exit especially towards to last MPH before a complete stop. Yes a brake job will do the trick but the overheating / glazing will likely come back.... say u pull a trailer and kept on braking for extended time.... or in hot hot days brakes long enough etc.... will get the rotors glazed up. Sometimes the shims and the clips makes noise too... (if that's the case apply a bit of brake lubes will do the trick).

Had the same issue , already get the resurface rotor from the dealer under the warranty but still the sequel sound came out again when braking to completely stop. Very annoying.

I've just taken deliver of my '24 LX600 and the brake sqeak coming from the rears is killing me.
Dealer already took front + rear pad off, re-lubed everyting, no luck .

Did you ever get this resolved?

I'm having this issue from the first second i tood delivery of my '24 LX.
are you still suffering from this or did resurfacing the rotors solve it?

At last the dealer change all the rotor and The brake pad , the sound completely gone . The dealer said its just mostly all defect with the brake with new lx.
