Rough Idle Full Stop w/ Gear In Drive and Park
Just purchased a 2024 LX600 F Sport and noticed rough on idle usually happening at a full stop when gear is on drive with brakes pressed. Anybody having this problem? I saw a service bulletin somewhere that they have a fix and will be mailed out in April, but I lost the link.
update: Also noticed when in park it has a rough idle.

I have a 2023 f sport and we don’t have that problem. Doesn’t your engine shut down on park or idle? We noticed the ride was a little more choppy for the first thousand miles with the acceleration, but after the thousand miles it runs smoother. The recall (which we got done) was for the transmission when in neutral it would roll forward or was it backwards. It was a quick software update.

I also feel a vibration when I stop in D mode. This is a small tremor that is visible and felt on the seats.
The services do not yet have much expertise in dealing with such a problem and suggest waiting for the problem to be massive and Lexus to find a solution.

Lx600 2024
I bought a 2024 lx600 luxury at the end of last December. After a couple days of driving I noticed a vibration when on idle. It didn’t matter if I am on P or depressed the brakes, as soon as the rpm was in the idle range I would feel the vibrations.
I felt it on the driver door especially when it was open and also on my seat. The car was a pleasure to drive but as soon as your on a traffic lights or parked, it would come back and that really bothered me.
Took it to the dealer garage twice and the answer was ‘ this is normal ‘
I was disappointed and surprised that this car would be allowed to leave production lines by a company like Toyota/Lexus.
I also went back to the showroom and started another brand new car and felt this vibration, just toned down.
A few people I know have this same issue.
Also find also shocking that non of video reviewers on YT mention this. Didn’t anyone notice?
I ended up selling the car about 5000km and went back to my 2019 Land Cruiser VXS and won’t buy another until this is fixed.

Run a few tanks of premium from a corporate premium station (Shell, Exxon, Valero) and see what it does.
I also have a little NVH issue too and someone DM’d me saying the back or mid seat was loose and something about the connection; causing a vibration in his. I took one of my car guy buddies for a ride last night, who is also an engineer, and he said it felt like the tires.
