Part arrived yesterday. $377 shipped through lexuspartsoutlet.com.
here are a few photos. Now all I need to get is a print-out of the factory installation instructions. Hoping there is a plug in the area so that I don’t have to tap into any wiring.
Label on the box with part number and COO.
Wrapped part as it came out of the box.
Unwrapped part.
Close-up of F-Sport logo.
Even closer up on the F-Sport logo. Note there is a protective piece of clear wrap on the logo — I did t remove that yet.
Back side of the unwrapped part.
Close-up of the electrical connector for the back-lighting.
Supplemental parts taped to the outside of the dust bag. Looks like a piece of think adhesive foam, and some zip ties (likely for the wiring).
Installed the F-Sport rear cargo sill today. No problems, the old piece and the new piece are just held down via clips. I would say the install (discovering how everything was held together) took about 20-25 mins, tops. Also had to loosen the rubber cargo compartment seal, but that is just a press-fit.
I did remove the two hold-downs inside the left side of the flip-up compartment and transferred them to the new piece. I will attach photos later.
Only issue is that I could not find the small connector to plug the illumination pigtail on the new sill plate, into. Looked everywhere with a flashlight and could not find anything. I will have to get my hands on the installation instructions from my Lexus dealer, which will pin-point where it is located. Once I find that, I'll loosen and remove the plate again and plug it into where it is supposed to go.
