Height Control Switch on LX600 Premium

Height Control Switch on LX600 Premium
Bought LX600 Premium. Saw Adaptive Variable Suspension and assumed it was same as on my previous LX570.
Wrong assumption ! The location where the height control switch would be is blank. That switch appears to be a $1300 option which is not standard on the Premium.
So now I am wondering if changing the switch , which is available from Lexus with the one that has the control buttons would do the trick.
I have a trick hip and lowering the car for entry and exit would really help.
Has anyone tried to do this?
I can't imagine that the wiring harness would be different between models for just that switch, seems like prohibitively expensive for such an inexpensive option.
The replacement switch would seem to be 840C060070 or 840c060060 ??
Any info would be helpful!

I don't think "Active Height Control" and "Adaptive Variable Suspension" are the same things? And I would be very shocked if simply adding a switch panel would give you the "Active Height Control" as you would also need parts like 4891060060 wouldn't you?

Redneck Joe is correct.
Active height suspension (AHC) would require an extensive overhaul of your suspension system. It would be more practical to sell/trade your current LX for another model that has AHC. If I recall correctly, you need a Luxury trim and up to get the option of adding AHC.

LX570 had AHC standard on all trims. Not so with LX600...only F-Sport and Luxury have that option. Base and Premium do not...just another chip-it-away-piece-by-piece from Lexus...
