My brother is still waiting for the call to place his order. He will definitely be first on the list with our long-established relationship with Lexus of Portland.

It makes me laugh reading terrible assumptions on a car manufacturer giant that they’re failing and or will.
“Too far behind…” 😂

I have been working in self driving field since 2015.
Tesla FSD is a joke and the way Elon is pushing it simply will kill more people and introduce more bad human behavior.
Tesla is not ahead in self driving. In fact it’s probably one of the most behind because it has zero redundancy build in.
While GM/Honda cruise, Waymo,… are already so far ahead in terms of solving discrepancy from conflicting data from different sensor suite, Tesla approach was to throw redundancy away.
This is exactly the issue with 737 max MCAS. Rely on single point of failure to make decision.
FSD in personal vehicle in its current state of power consumption and cooling requirement isn’t practical. It will need at least another 5 years for sensors and processor to further lithography reduction.
If you want to kill yourself by using a L2 system, please do it in empty highway.

I have the Luxury LX 600.
When I read Edmund's review the first time before I got my vehicle, I thought they were too negative. Now that I have had it for a few months I think that review is precise. Check it out.
In addition, I miss my 2019 LX 570!!!
In addition to the EDMUNDS review, I just find the engine too small for this big car. It just does not have that Lexus FEEL- remember I have had more than 7 Lexus vehicles.
We ordered a New 2023 RX500h for my wife. After the test drive, I cancelled the order. the verdict is the same there is no more Lexus Feel. Same reason -fast turbo but too light.
I advised her to hold on to her 2020 RX350 Sport series 3 until we check out what else is on the market from Mercedes.
I am happy to hear what others think.

I have owned mine for over 13 months and placed 18,000 miles on mine. I have not owned a LX previously. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. Fit and finish has been great. It is as solid as I drove it off the lot. I have not had any issues with the vehicle. I get compliments all the time on the vehicle. I would definitely purchase the vehicle again.

I have a 22 LX 600 with 15K miles on it over exactly one year. It's flawless as far as build quality. This thing is built to last. Zero issues. I have also owned an RX 350, a GS 350, an IS F and a GS F. The LX fits nicely at the top of the product line.
I have also driven, but never owned, a 570. I know the V8 has it's fans, understandably. But the new engine / transmission combination is a serious upgrade. To say that it's too small for the vehicle just doesn't make sense to me.

I have LX Luxury. I’m very happy with everything. I only wish I could have 20” wheels. I have taken it off-road in Colorado and the adjustable suspension height definitely came in handy. Transmission is fantastic. I love the improvement in MPG. I have never driven the V8 but I am very impressed with the V6. The highway ride is smooth and responsive.

I have had an LX 600 for 6 months and about 5500 miles. I previously had a 2017 LX 570 for 6 1/2 years and about 70, 000 miles. I do not drive off road and use 4WDLow only on occasional snow (Alabama) and when launching boat on slippery boat ramp. I moved up to the LX after owning 3 GX for the bigger seats and comfor (I am 72 years old) on long trips. The 600 does on average get about 2MPG more than the 570. The pick up and handling is superior to the 570 and the electronic upgrades are nice apple car play etc. The hands free rear tailgate doesn't work well even after having a technician go over it with me. It does get a lot of 2nd looks and compliments and I have only seen 2 others around here but saw 2 others in Orlando last month. Our return trip was 11 1/2 hours because of traffic and was very comfortable.
My wife says it is more comfortable and easier to get in and out of (she had a hip replacement) than the 570. I did not pay over list and did not pay any dealer side sticker markups. It is a disappointment that the rear seat entertainment package is included in everyone I have seen. I think my grand children used the one in the 570 twice.
I am pleased with this vehicle and would buy again
