So the same 3.5 V6 TT as the LC -- no surprise there I guess, although the "600" model name was a bit of an unfounded tease. Styling is definitely more evolutionary, same wheelbase and general silhouette. Will be interesting to see the new Ultra Luxury and F Sport options.

just bought my 2021 lexus lx in april, so secretly i didnt want to like the new model, but i do. looks like they ditched the boxy design of the new Toyota LC which im not a fan of. the second row captains chair look awesome. as of right now, still no buyers remorse with my LX, still need to see all the features/models of this new design. here is an up close reveal of the new model

Big disappointment. No off-road version for us, just for Japan. That means no lockers, bad approach/departure angles, 22” (or 20”) tires… Of course, we expected to get no V8 but there is also no hybrid so even Tundra can have a more powerful engine now. Also, there will be no split tailgate.
Toyota had 14 years to develop a new LX. And now, we get this. It’s the same as with the new LS a few years ago. Just a big disappointment. I also expected at least some autonomous driving features. Cadillac has Super Cruise and should receive Ultra Cruise soon. Ford has Blue Cruise. Even Hyundai has quite a capable system. But Lexus just plans to add Lexus Teammate to a few LS 500h this fall (and also this is not 100% sure).

But why should I buy LX if I did not need it for some offroading? Purchasing a frame based vehicle with a solid rear axle just for highway driving does not make much sense...

Like I've off-loaded both the 100 and 200 Series. My pants never caught on fire.
Why will Toyota be bankrupt...nothing made in the US compares.

I like it. I am keeping my 2020 and adding this one to the stable when they are able to be ordered. Will lease it to make sure I can dump it if the v6 doesn’t shake out so well. Will daily drive it and keep the miles off the 20.
Cadillac will always have more tech… however I had one and lemon lawed it. No point in extra tech if it doesn’t work!

Do people not understand that more folks in the middle east and Russia are the target buyers for this vehicle? I get that there's customers in the US who may purchase this too but not as many as those two regions. Why do you think they announced it's official release in both those regions to begin with.

Thanks for making my point.
"Like you're going to seriously off-road a new LX - pants on fire..."
See the word new?
here....NEW
Trashing 20 yo clunkers is what you off road - not a $120K NEW LX off the showroom floor.

And braindead TOYOTA - led by braindead Mr. Toyoda - will be BK within five years....
Artificial Intelligence company TESLA will be producing more robots (cars) next year than BMW and more than FORD the year after.
Toyota is nowhere to be seen - they deserve to die and will.
Mr Toyoda will be performing Seppuku soon - he has disgraced his family - his company - his legacy - and tarnished Japan...
