I really love the f sport looks on the new LX600 but want a soft comfort ride. my 2016 f sport RX350 has a rough ride vs a normal RX I have driven.
Can anyone chime on the f sport ride quality vs the non f sport on the lx600?
As I've posted once or twice before, the major contributor to a soft ride is thicker sidewalls. That excludes 22 to 20" wheels. Going to 18" makes a big increase in comfort.
I think the choices now are either look like a hard cornering truck and be disappointed in the corners, or get a comfortable all-day ride and still corner well for a 3-1/2 ton truck.
i think in the rx f sport had different spring rates. My rx350 f sport 2013 was down right terrible. It was stiff without any benefits. The wheel difference was 18 vs 19”.
my lx570 with 21” rides more comfortable than the 2015 with 20”. Softer dampers i dont know.
i do think 22” are overkill probably a 20” wheel is right in the middle of comfort and “sport”
i hope to god lexus offers a offroad package for lx or trail or something.

yes i am curious how much of difference it makes, anyone who drives these suv knows we cant really drive them hard especially around corners. Who knows maybe the lx600 we can?

I bought the luxary model as I wanted the black out apperance package. I wish the Fsport woult come with the blacout apperance package and the Fsport wheels!
One of the reviews that were released on YouTube today said he preferred the 18” wheels for the ability to absorb road imperfections. He said there was a noticeable difference with the 22” wheels as rode much rougher.
just picked up the LX F sport last night, I previously had. 2018 LX570, and a Cayenne Turbo before this one. The ride is a little stiffer, but not much more. It still rides like an LX, but you can tell it’s a little different. The AHC is a lot faster and more responsive than the previous model. So lowering and raising the car is faster, but I’ve only put on 15 miles on it so far. I honestly didn’t get to drive the other models that came in which was a 2 luxury, Ultra luxury and ours. So since they were pre sold, I couldn’t compare the differences.

Wow congrats! One of the first to take delivery, at least on this forum! Can you share your impressions of the 3rd row, and any pictures of it? Coming from a Cayenne Turbo, how’s the LX600 power? Thanks!

I only opened the 3rd row briefly and didn’t look at it, to be honest. I’ll open it up and take a couple pics when I have time. It’s a little busy at work today since I played hookey yesterday to get this. So far, I’m pretty old school, I wait to go over 55 after 500 miles Atleast. Plus I smell a lot of stuff burning off after I turn off the car. I’ll report on the power in a week or so.

Thanks! Looking forward to it.
and don’t worry about the burning smell; it’s probably just cosmoline (or whatever the equivalent is these days) on the undercarriage; protects the LX during shipment from Tamara. Goes away after a while.
I received my LX600 F Sport in late May. I previously had a 2020 LX . In my opinion the 22 F Sport offers just as comfortable ride as the 20 and it handles better. What I do not like is that the infotainment display only shows one function. No more Map and Audio on the same display unless you use CarPlay or Android Auto, It also has the Auto Stop Start which I dislike. (It can be disabled but you have to do it each time you start the car,)
