New to the forum. Been waiting for the LX600 for quite some time. Am located in NJ - first dealer I called told me the old model left in stock is $5k over sticker and that any orders are going to be "substantially more" - my guess is 10-20k in my area. Most other brand dealers, no matter what the stock situation, are honoring MSRP for ordered cars. I can get the "instant grattitude" tax on in-stock cars. 10-20k over for an ordered car makes no sense to me.
Thanks for the tip to order from Austin - what is the timeline for delivery? 4-6 months out?
Also now strongly considering finding a certified used one, except the price delta isn't as much as I hoped. I have a child and the selling point for the wife is reliability and a 3rd row. Otherwise the Volvo is an option she is strongly considering at a much lower price point (not a fan - "stressed" engine, intrusive safety features, they're everywhere). Thanks all for the great info on the forum and in this thread.

Market correction underway. Supply will catch up sooner than later. 7 seat FF rover truck is in the same ballpark, esp. if you are already paying over MSRP. IMO, don’t be the last ones to be gouged by dealer overcharging.

This is solid advice. I actually considered the RR, except it is the opposite of what makes the Lexus so great (reliability). I am now strongly considering picking up a certified lx. Not too many out there with the 3rd row and pricing isn't great. That being said, still 20-25k less than the new one. That's a lot of gas money...
