Now it's more than 120 and Sterling McCall has more than 150 IIRC

I wonder if Houston just has an abnormally large SUV market

WOW !! I think those 2 dealerships are two of the largest in moving volume so they get more allocations ? They probably have deposits from many folks outside of Texas.

It's nice. Will try and post a detailed picture thread tonight including purchase experience/negotiations/packages. There was some dealership drama due to other customers/sales staff fighting for it .

Is that a LX 600 Luxury model? Did you ask for the black grill and door handles or did it just arrive that way? Are you happy with the sales experience?

LX600 Luxury trim
Eminent White Pearl
Black semi-aniline leather with Black Open-Pore wood trim
  • Active Height Control
  • Rear-seat entertainment
  • Appearance Package
  • 22" Wheels
  • Cargo Net
  • Key Gloves
  • Roof Cross-bars
Car was allocated to dealership with those options. I did not get to choose them but it's "close" to what I wanted. I would've opted out rear-seat entertainment and chosen 18" wheels over 22s. Wheels are an easy fix at least. Sales experience was mediocre overall but at least they got me the car. I began the process in mid-November.

Window sticker attached.

Sure thing. I posted a bunch more info here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lx-...-delivery.html

Hope you can get it at MSRP and not overpay like me . I'll be fine though cryptocurrency hype has been a wonderful thing.

I’m fortunate that Sewell Lexus has a policy at all their dealerships not to charge over MSRP. I will definitely watch for the add ons when I purchase my vehicle. Thank you for your negotiating tips with the add ons and warranty. Your pictures are great and thank you for sharing. Enjoy your LX 600.

It is on topic. Discussion was about LX markups and I stated LOW’s website said they were not doing markups, but hasn’t been confirmed. The response confirmed from an actual customer that indeed LOW would sell at msrp.

That’s on topic. 👍👍👍

What a joke -- MSRP + $100K. The marketing folks at Toyota must have lost their minds -- first discontinuing the Land Cruiser and then putting the LX600 at the end of the line for rationed parts.

I stopped at a couple dealerships in April and May, just to see one (there weren't any), and to get a valuation on my 2017 LX. Sales Associate said they were accepting names and deposits for the 1/month LX600 they were receiving, and it would be likely 6-12 months for my name to be at the top. Special order? 12 months minimum. Drove away and found a 2022 BMW X7 M50i all options on-lot for MSRP, and received a really good trade allowance on my LX. Lexus is at the bottom of the luxury full-size SUV sales YTD, and seems to be trying to fall off the list altogether with market adjustments to MSRP. I know people who aren't willing to pay +$100K for a $200K MSRP MB G63. Even G63s are commanding only +$50K right now. I liked my 2017 LX, but Lexus did everything possible to push me into another brand.

Been on a list since Dec for LX600 and doubtful it will arrive this year with this dealership getting just 1 or so cars per month. Insane. I also order a BMW 2023 X7 and a Sequoia. My plan was to go with which ever arrives first. Looks like the x7 will arrive the end of this month / beginning of Oct barring any quality control delays. The Sequoias seem to be pushed back until January I was told. Congrats on the m50i, that is a sweet sweet engine.
