Default Lexus LX600 Wait time?

Hey guys, I ordered a new LX600 last week here in Washington and it appears no dealers here have one on a display. I’m just wondering how long you guys who ordered one have to wait. I’ve been told 6-7 months, can’t wait though. Hoping I won’t be disappointed. I really had a tough time choosing between this and the new Cadillac escalade

Check the reliability between the LX and Escalade...no contest in favor of the LX. Same with resale value.

yeah that’s what really made me go with the LX, can’t beat the Toyota reliability with the luxury. We’ll have to see how this new engine works though

Rather buy a bicycle than an Escalade.

That's true. On the other side, the new LX is ugly. The approach and departure angles are really bad. We did not get front and rear lockers. And, at least, Escalade has Supercruise which works pretty good. And I did not hear anything about a possibility of Lexus Teammate in the new LX. It should be possible to get just in LS 500h for now. I don't plan to buy Escalade, but also not LX 600. I expected that Lexus offers us something significantly better than my 2016 LX 570. But it did not happen.

Toyota / Lexus (may even be Honda / Acura too) needs to generate some better design. They are known for reliability and not technology hence there's always be a lag / catch up when it comes to tech. Design is something that sometimes I feel they either go very old school or they gone too far (too futuristic - ended up being just a concept car). The new LX kinna looks like a pumped up Highlander for some reason. Interior looks clean but I expected more gadgets / tech packed but that's Toyota / Lexus....

Keep your 2016, I have a feeling they will be worth more when its 10 years old than when this new one will be 10 years old.

I was holding out on purchasing a 2021 LX570 in hopes of the LX600 being better but when I saw the new Tundra with its ttv6, within days I found a new 2-row LX570 and purchased it.

I got a one to two year estimated waiting time and it is a hard pass- an ugly rear end and a questionable engine. Will keep chugging along in my 2021

NA V8 is going away.... it'll be a classic, not to mention eventually ICE will disappear and we'll be driving EVs. So enjoy your V8 ICE till the end.

Its ugly on the outside. And the dash looks terrible. They couldn’t put the new NX infotainment style system in it?

My wife has a 2019 LX and I look forward to doing a long term comparison once I take delivery of my 600. Allocation will be tight for next couple years. Dealer told me that special orders are about a year out.

I have had my LX 600 for six weeks now and love it. The engine has more power, torque, gas mileage, and towing capacity than the LX 570. The 10 speed transmission is very smooth. I have been averaging 18.3 MPG. I have received lots of compliments on the look and style of the new LX 600. The problem with the new LX is that they just can’t make enough of them to satisfy the demand. I hope to get at least 200,000 miles on mine. I can’t wait to take it to Colorado this summer and do some off roading.

I placed my name on the list in September. I was 7th on the list but I was the 1st person to receive the LX due to the color and options. White LX Luxury. There is a two year waiting list currently. I paid MSRP.
