Default July Production is Model Year Change-over to 2023 ?

Hello

Does anyone have insight when the model year change-over happens in Lexus, specifically for the LX600?

Most European manufacturers like Porsche and Mercedes start the next model year from July month production, while BMW does it even earlier.

I am offered a June production LX600 now. If I could know that July production will be MY2023, I don't mind waiting 1 or 2 months. Dealer of course is not helpful.

Thanks!

Why not call Lexus and get the answer from the horse's mouth. Phone number is in your owner's manual.

I'd be willing to bet my kidneys they won't be helpful in giving you an answer since the 2023 LX has not been announced so they won't release any production plans. As far as the OP, are you positive that you will remain in the same spot in line at your dealer if you pass on the 2022? The list of customers waiting for the LX is pretty extensive so you need to make sure that the dealer won't move you to the end since you passed on a car.

I don't think you'll need to sacrifice your kidneys.

The worst answer OP willl get is no answer.
