Default 20 inch wheels on Luxury trim

When I ordered my 600 I spec'd Luxury trim as I really wanted AHC. I noted to dealer I would like opportunity to order at discount 20inch OEM wheels as the 22's don't have a lot of tire choices. After enjoying the 600 for 1500 miles I ordered the 20's today and look fwd to having another set of wheels/tires and will go with something with more meat on it but not sure what tire yet.

Would love to hear what others are doing.

I have 20 inch wheels on my 600. The tires equipped are Yokohama Geolander X-CV. I have 10K miles on them and love them for both dry and wet conditions. No snow yet.

Though I am not sure why they aren't on tirerack yet. Tirerack shows Dunlops are OEM tires for the 20 inch wheels. I would bet the Yokohamas are superior to the Dunlops.

Is there a ride quality difference with 20” over 22”. Or is it primarily an aesthetic difference. Photos would be appreciated. Thanks,

I bought 20 inch OEM wheels for more sidewall on winter tires. The 22's ride great and will continue to use for All Season tires. I ordered Blizzak DMV2's in 275/60 20. Will post pics of both once installed.

I like Yokohama but doubt they are superior to Dunlop. Why would Lexus and Toyota on Landcruiser put superior tires on their lower trim level flagship SUV. The Luxury and Ultra Luxury can't be specd with 20 inch wheels. The Dunlop press release stated they developed a tire specifically for the new 300 series. I am sure they are both a decent all season tire.

Fair enough. I had read a review somewhere where they stated they didn't like the 22 inch set up with Dunlops. I do like the 20 inch Yokos, I should have left it at that.

Below is my LX at delivery with 20 inch Yokos.

Looks great. I see you have apprarance package on your rig. Is that exterior color Atomic Silver or Magnetic Grey?

My 20's and snow shoes are going on Thursday.

It's called manganese luster. It is darkish gray with a brownish tone to it.

Mounted the snow shoes today and really like the 20 inch wheels with 275/60 tires. Should offer the 20's on higher trim levels. Checked for rubbing turning hard over and appears good.
