Driver's Side Window Issue

Driver's Side Window Issue
Hi all,
I apologize if this has been covered many times before, but I wasn't able to find it when searching. To be clear, this does not appear to be a reprogramming issue.
On my 2012 ES 350, when I roll the window all the way up, it rolls itself back down to halfway. If I "manually" roll it up (don't pull the switch all the way to full Auto), I can stop at the top without a problem. If I pull the switch hard enough (to Auto) and release, it goes to the top, then comes halfway down on its own.
As far as I can tell, this is a sensor issue. It "thinks" that something has blocked the window and rolls back down so that the object can be removed. I don't know if these cars use a limit switch for the top and a current sensor to detect when the motor has stalled. Long and short, I'm just looking to fix it and hopefully only pull the door panel off once. I've already tried rolling it all the way down, holding the switch down for 3 seconds, then doing the same at the top - no luck - it rolls halfway back down before 3 seconds has passed when it gets to the top.
Is anybody aware of the exact cause of this issue and what part is needed to repair it? Thanks in advance!
