Default Problem with my power steering....

I already changed my power steering pump due to leaking and it works great. But once in a while it completely shuts down and the steering is very hard.

The fluid in the res. is filled to proper levels. It was bleed by turning the wheels side to side.

Does anyone have any clue to why it sometimes it is not working?

Thanks,

Johnny

Try bleeding it again, maybe there is/was air still trapped in the lines.

There's a solenoid on the driver side of the steering rack. The LS and SC 400 are well know when the screen inside the solenoid clogged up and result in hard to steer. Some of us have been talking about the solenoid problem for quiet and I'm glad the search function rock.
Here's the link.
