1999 ES300 Window Regulator help needed
Hi, my right front window regulator on a 1999 ES300 had it's cable break away so it needed to be replaced. After having zero luck locating a new replacement I found one used on ebay. It was advertised as working. Anyway, it came with the part that the window bolts to all the way down so attaching it to the glass is going to be a super problem. I tried to plug it in and see if I could get the positioning of the bolt part up a bit by using door's window switch with no luck. I also installed the regulator and managed to attach two bolts to the glass without success. I was hoping that it needed to sense a bit of weight. Is there a trick that I am missing to get this installed and working? I did the driver's side years ago with a new regulator and it was pretty straightforward.
Does anyone have any hints or advice on getting this working? I could try to swap motors but the person that i bought it from put red marks over every screw. Thanks.

LeX2K, thank you for the response. Unfortunately, in all the videos that that I've watched the regulator was in the right position for the glass to get bolted to and worked right away besides some adjustment afterword.

Upon further thought I'm thinking that I have to remove the window regulator motor to move the pulley to the position that I want then reinstall. I was just trying to avoid breaking the part's warranty incase that it didn't work out.
