I was wondering, what kind of oil the dealer usually uses during an oil change?

It's just depending on the dealer and the supplier from the local oil company. It can be Castrol, Penzoil, Mobile, ...and so on. The best way is bring your own oil( the one you like) and tell them not to charge you for oil.

I take my own or change it myself between major services.

Yeah,depends on dealership. Bringing your own oil for the service isn't a problem,just tell the service writer.
