Default AC questions.. and What the heck is this?

Hey guy's , I have a few questions for you. 1st off my A/C is blowing hot here in south florida, it's no fun. The A/C light blinks and I am reciving error codes 23-27 I belive. I bought this recently, it's a 1994 SC300 and I just noticed this sticker on my hood..

I belive this means that the AC was converted from R12? That means I could possibly get one of those refill kits? I Also noticed that compressor as shown below, says remanufactured.. Is this good or bad?

edit ** I poped the hood open and turned on the ac and watched and listened to it turn on it kind of sounded like a motor reving up and then a woosh kind of noise?

You probably need a regas, do you have the code identifiers (what code 23/27 are)?

That thing up front looks like a radar detector. I had one that was the previous owner installed on my car. It looks just like that. at least i think its a radar detector.

Code 27 is Sub 02S Signal, there is no code for 23. You can find the codes at www.troublecodes.net/Lexus

LOL And I was trying to find an AC compressor in those pictures.

You have nothing to worry about. R134a is the "new" environmentally friendly coolant. Just take it in to your local Lexus and as them to recharge your system.

Are AC repair shops REQUIRED to place the 134A sticker on an old car once it has the refridgerant replacement?
