Default Over heating 92 es300

i remember someone having the same symptoms to their car that i am having to mine right now. i can drive on the freeway for hours and then when i go on the main road, and start hitting stop lights, my temperature starts going up. i forgot who it was that said it but they said that it was an $80 fix. if anyone knows what the problem is or can recall that same post, please let me know, i need to get this fixed. thanks in advance. - jeff

Not sure what the problem is, your coolant level is fine I trust? Only thing I can think of is the thermostat is bad and you're not getting enough coolant in the engine.

If you have to drive it, crank on the HEAT full blast when you see that temp gauge rising. Not so fun for you but it will keep you from totally overheating.
