Oem Battery
just got a new battery from dealership per warranty but don't know what type of battery does dealership uses just say's Lexus across in white letters that all.? anyone have this battery? dealership claims 84 months that 7 years wow kinda long don't you think for a battery.?

This has been answered in earlier posts and a search will get you the answer. I recall it was Panasonic but was recently changed. Regardless od brand, I've never had an 7 year battery last 7 years.

I also hear Panasonic but don't know how reliable the info is. A Lexus OEM battery lasting 7 years is hard to believe; most of our batteries tend to last about the average of 3 years.

My battery died this winter. I thought the 84 month warranty was worth a shot so here it is. I don't know when it was last replaced but I can tell you it was very old.

The 84-month warranty may be pro-rated so it may not worth much.
I did have a Motorcraft battery that lasted an amazing 8 years in my '79 Ford Fairmont way back. Though most of my other batteries lasted anywhere from 2.5 to 4 years.
So far so good with my 2002 RX300's battery.
