My driver side door on my 95 sc300 will not open. I was using the remote entry, and hit the button and accidently lifted the handle too soon, and now it will not open at all. The car is unlocked, but the door will not open, almost like the mechanism is stuck. Both from the outside and the inside lifting the handle does nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the door open and potentially fix my problem? Also, has anyone experienced or heard of this before?

You may broke a clip that hold the rod to the door handle. The best way is to remove the door panel and see which clip broke and the color of the clip.

Sorry, I think you can open the door from the inside, my bad. Sound like the door actuator is stucked. This is a very hard to do, because you have to destroy the locking mechanism inside the door to open it up.(with window down). Not an easy task, I did that before and I was sweat my back off. Let the Lexus dealer do it and the labor should be 3.0 hrs to open the door and replace the actuator.
