Default Where to buy Toyota 80W90 Gear Oil?

It is really difficult to find Toyota's 80W90 Gear Oil for Differential and Transfer Case. Does any one know how to get these in the mail?

Did you already try our forum sponsors (like Carson Toyota and Sewell Lexus)?

Why do you want the OEM fluid? Just wondered since many synthetics are betters and at the same price or lower.

Default auto, you've been hanging around Saber's web site too long...!

I can understand mailing away for Toyota ATF, but there's plenty of fine gear oils at your neaby auto parts store. You can buy a bottle for what you'd pay in postage to get some Toyota gear oil shipped to you.

Toyota only sells a 75W-90 synthetic gear oil. I have not tried to buy it yet so I don't know the part number, but I do know one dealer that is willing to ship oils and fluids via UPS Ground is Champion Toyota in Houston. Just do a Yahoo Search for "Champion Toyota Houston" to get their phone number. Champion also sell everything for a 25% discount so between that and the fact you pay no sales tax it shouldn't be prohibitively expensive to order from them. On the other hand since the Toyota 75W-90 synthetic gear oil
is a new product for 2004 Champion may not even stock it yet just like very few Toyota dealers stock the all new pink Toyota Super Long Life Antifreeze that was introduced in 2004.

I think we are all saying no need to buy OE fluid and have it shipped. The shipping will be high and not worth the extra money for the OE fluid. Find a better fluid locally and at the same price.
