Default those experiencing a mushy/soft pedal

I'm posting it over here hoping to get some replies instead of the LS specific section.

I've seen quite a number of first gen LS400 owners complaining about a spongy/mushy pedal.
I'd like to know from them whether they ever got it to fix. If so what was their problem and what was their fix ?
I'm experiencing intermittent sponginess and pedal drops.
so far i've had the follwing changed:

Rotors, pads, front callipers, master cylinder, brake booster, traction accumulator.
at this point the only two things that are left are the traction and the abs actuators.
has anyone replaced any of the two actuators ?
i need some feedback on this issue.
thnx.

Make sure all the sliding pins are moving freely and check all the rubber brake lines. Don't forget the line by the ABS actuator, right next to brake master cylinder on the left side of the car. Sometimes that little line collaped inside.

vvti:
I just had the dealer change the front callipers therefore eliminating the sliding pins factor.
the brake lines were checked as well.
the line that u're referring to next to the master cylinder is the one i'm curious about.
from what I recall, the ABS actuator sits behind the passenger side headlight, under the air intake system.
while the master cylinder is right next to the driver's side firewall.
so where exactly would this line be at ?
