100k? wat did u guys do
well since lexus service is really expensive, i've deciided to take it to my family mechanic, but
before taking it in i was wondering wat kinda service i would get if i take in my car
at lexus dealer for 100k service, like a list would help alot ^^ (For 96 SC300 Model)
my mechanic told to just change out all the belts on the car , do u guys think this would be
good enough for 100k service? thanks

Call Steve at Carson Toyota or PM him and ask him what to change...he has an SC as well...he'll definately be the one to talk to!!! I got everything from him when I did my Tuneup on my GS300 and had my mechanic install everything...he owns a lexus and knows these cars in and out!! Better than taking it to those Stealerships!!

EV ftw!!!
Here is what you need to do for the 100K (miles) service interval:
- Inspect Air Conditioning Filter (if equipped)
- Inspect Air Filter Element
- Inspect Brake Fluids
- Inspect Coolant Level
- Inspect Drive Belt
- Inspect Lights, Horn and Windshield Wipers
- Inspect Power Steering Fluid
- Inspect Transmission Fluid
- Inspect Windshield Washer Fluid
- Lubricate Locks and Hinges
- Replace Engine Oil
- Replace Engine Oil Filter
- Road Test
