Changing Tires
Hi all,
I want to change the bridgestones on my RX300, the rear ones need to go, and if I change them I rather get rid of all 4 and just get a better tire (Yokohama or Michelin). My dealer is not an otion as he carries only the original tires the car comes with.
Is Tirerack a good option?
Anyone knows a better place in the Philly area?

To have a look at websites, either tirerack OR www.tiretrends.com For your RX, I agree the bridgestones are not good at all. Your best bet is either the Yokohama Geolander G-051 OR the Toyo Open Country M-410. You should have the choice of either blackwall or raised white lettering on the sidewalls. The Michelin are good too.....but compared to the others I have suggested, they are VERY expensive! & you won't get much more milage out of the Michelins.........The Toyo's & Yoko's came in first & second place respectively in a recent major consumer magazine of premium all season 'light truck' tires. Check your yellow pages for Toyo &/or Yoohama dealers near you or go to the companies websites to locate the closest dealers. Good Luck!
