how to flush out radiator

Default how to flush out radiator

I was wondering how i can easly flush out my radiator on my 95 es. I cant seem to get to the plug on the bottom of the radiator. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

You need to take out the panel below the radiator, a bunch of 10mm bolts hold it on. Once you get it off, you can access the drain plug and drain the radiator. If you want to go even further, you can also drain the block, there are block drains on each side of the block.

Consider replacing the engine coolant with 'Toyota super long life' which is pink in colour as opposed to red which is the Toyota 'regular' 2 year coolant.

I will just say use the proper coolant, EG, as outlined in your manual. Color is not important.
