Default Caps & Rotors w Timing Belt?

I have searched many post here & never hear about people replacing these items when they do their timing belts. Are these parts bullet proof on the UZFE series engines? What gives?

Happy Thanksgiving, damon

On the 1990-1997 UZEF family engine in the LS and SC, the caps and rotors are bulletproof. But it is a good idea replace caps and rotors while you're doing the timing belt, because we never know what will happened in the future. It's just peace of mind or preventive maintenance.

I just do em when I do my spark plugs/wires, about every 60k. Also makes it easier to do all the ignition stuff at one time
