Hey, a not so funny thing happened today when I got into my car, I stated it up, but NOTHING happened. When I put my key in, nothing. I tried to turn the key and I couldn't even do that. I couldnt move the sterring wheel, turn on my lights, or shift my car. I had to leave so I left, and when I came home, I popped the hood, made sure the battery connection was ok, closed it, and it worked fine. But my question is, has anyone experienced this before or heard about it. And if so, what can I do to make sure it doesnt happen to me when I need my car. Thanks for whatever help or advice you can give me.

Check your battery terminals for corrosion.

Lightbulb Steering wheel "locked"

Mabye this will help. When u put the key in, try to turn the steering wheel hard to the left or right while turning the key. Some times, when u get outta the car, u may accidentaly turn the steering wheel and "lock" it. I'm not sure if this would cause the lights not being able to be turned on, but i know it prevents the steering wheel and key to be turned.
