Whew $ of trunk air springs shocks
I checked the price and dealer wants $140 each for air spring shocks for the trunk lid. I expected $40. Ideas on aftermarket are greatly appreciated?

This has been covered greatly in the past. So before anyone else yells SEARCH!, I'll do the honors.
Search!
There are plenty of aftermarket solutions either online or in person at your local auto part store. Cost is about $30 each or less.

I 4th the rockauto.com ones, it should come out to like 38 shipped. Those are much better than the ebay ones and slightly cheaper. I have experience with them both. The rockauto ones come with the mounting bolts and clips. Some of the ebay ones do not. They ship pretty quick as well.

Make sure you need two, I only needed one. Replace the one that doesn't make any air compression noise when you open/close the trunk.
