slick 50! Just make sure don't use cheap ones, they will hurt your fuel system instead, like those from 99 cents store

Cool

Almost all the owners I spoke with on the same question have recommended Chevron fuel system cleaner with Tecron (20oz size, not 12oz). I used it on my drive back from Florida & once again, got 500 miles to a tank of gas! It's excellent stuff & a synthetic fuel system cleaner to boot for only about $9.00

Count another Techron fan here, but I also like Redline. I go back and forth between the two in my cars.

The King of all FI Cleaners is BG44K Period!
If that doesn't restore performance or smooth out your idle you have a more serious problem.

I also use techron every 2k miles for extra insurance ($10 for a 4pack at Costco)

The one they have at Costco isnt the same Techron that everyone else is talking about.
The one at Costco is also Chevron but a bit different. The one they sell at Wal-Mart is the one we're usually talking about. It cost around $7 per bottle. Definitely different from the one at Costo.

From my experience with my last car, only Chemtool B-12 works to clean up fuel system and remove carbon deposit. Techron, STP, Redline, etc. work as well as gasoline. So just buy gasoline and pour it into the tank. It's cheaper that way.

Any major brand gasoline will keep your fuel system clean. I've never used any fuel additives in my Lexus, and it runs fine after 3 years.

why do you use that, if you use 93 in your car at all times you stil lhave to use a fuel system cleaner? I heard that if you do it is a waste of money and you only use it if you use anything less then 93

I used the Chevron fuel system cleaner along with the Chevron 93 octane gas & got a pretty significant boost in fuel economy.......It won't hurt anything if done every 6 months or once a year imo.

For you guys that like to put more than one fuel additive at a time in your tank, beware because those chemicals are known to accelerate the deterioration of your fuel pump diaphragm.

I agree on Techron but give Gas Extreme a try.
