So I'm not wasting cash on those nearly $20 filters... how long do you guys typically run your air filter before changing it?
I've read 12k mi but that seems often as some of my other vehicles are recommended at 25-30k...
Thanks for any input!

I tend to replace my air filter (which goes for $12 at toyota dealers0 every oil change or every other oil change. After about 6-10K miles, I can actually feel a slight increase in performance with new oil and air filter.

I vacuum both engine and cabin air filters every three months, replacing them yearly for engine and every other year for the cabin. Additionally, I vacuum inside the engine air box and wipe it clean.
