Can someone help me out
For my own amusement I am trying to find out what all oil filters can be run on an SC300. Because I don’t have one and won’t for a while, I am asking for some help. I was wondering how much room there was around the filter, and how much bigger the filter mounting base is. For example, the Wix part number for the Lexus SC300 shows the 51348 with a 2.43 inner diameter and a 2.7” outer diameter. The FL1A, used in many Fords, and the basis for many much larger filters uses a 2.46 ID and a 2.842 OD. Will the .14 cause a problem with the mounting of a bigger filter, and is there even room to fit a bigger filter on?

Use the free tool from K&N...they show equivalents to their own.

Select Cross Reference after finding the type of car
It shows on a K&N, HP1002 (same as my 99 RX300)
but cross referenced:

WIX has the same thing. I am just wondering about how much room there is near the fitler. All things equal, I would rather have more filter and more oil in my car if it's possible. There are filters that are about 3-4 inches longer than the OEM one, meaning alot more filter, and a lot more oil.

The Toyota filters mentioned above are no longer produced, or go under a new part number. Anyway, that number no longer exists. As for the Mobil 1 filters, the model number that is given is M1-102. They list this for almost all the Lexus engines. I've been told the M1-209 also fits. I haven't bought one, but I took a look at the 102 and the 209 and the diameter and the threading seem to be the same, however, it is about 33% taller. Good choice for prolonged oil change intervals. I'm waiting for a sale on M1 filter before I pick one up and see if it will fit.

No, it is no longer current.
It is a cousin of the 90915-20004 which is now only sold as a TRD filter for pretty "big Bucks". Does not appear to be as well made as the 20004 version to me. Does look like a step up from YZZB5 or whatever they push now.
Performance guys seem to love the 90915-20004. They are both Nippon made.
