How to hook up an external temperature gauge?? (gauge says car is running hot)
Hey guys,
Does anyone know how to hook up an external temperature gauge on an SC? I've been driving it for 2 weeks without a gauge cluster as I have never had the slightest problem with my car. I put the gauge cluster back in today and the car is running consistantly 1 bar above what it should be on the temperature gauge. Since I've never had any problems before this, I'm thinking the needle could have been adjusted wrong. (sent in the gauges to fix the blown out needles). I'd like to figure out if my car is really running hot or not, and I'm not sure how to go about doing this....
Thanks!

You haven't reset your temp gauge. There's nothing wrong with your car. Start the car, lift the needle off and set is back where it is supposed to be. This is posted in a few area's here and at the other forums. The issue is with your temp sensor resistance. It is different from car to car and has to be set in car. Next time try emailing.
