just ended up buying the tire repair kit and had it plugged up. No sweat! Drove it around last night to help seal it up and so far so good. ...ill just put the fix a flat in the trunk and keep it as a LAST RESORT

a buddy of my show me how to use those plug stuff to repair a tire.. he also used this type of pase/glue on it tho.. he said if it gets on your hand. skin's coming out.. but just wondering if that glue is needed...

you can get those plug tire repair in Wal mart for 4bucks for the whole kit..

the sealant is made by dunlop. i have little info on what the sealant but being produced by an actual tire manufacturer, would it be a better product?

i have to do something because of all the custom amps and subs in the back of our car there is no place for a spare anymore...

The link didn't show me the product, nor can I find it on the site. Regardless, I don't think the fact that it is made by Dunlop will ensure it is a better product. The material used to seal the puncture will more than likely be very similiar to other products on the market since they are all accomplishing the same goal. Due to your lack of trunk space, a can of fix-a-flat is most likely your only solution. Go with any canned product, but be sure to use it as a fix to get you to the tire shop and not a fix that you continue to drive on for 6 months!

Thanks!! That link worked great!! I do see one advantage with this unit. Not the fact that it uses a latex sealant from Dunlop, but the fact that it is actually a small compressor. Canned Fix-a Flat doesn't usually fill the tire to operating pressure. It just gives you enough to use the tire for a short period. It appears that this unit fills your tire to operating pressure. It does inidcate that the max range is 300km with a top recommended speed of 80kmh, so it does still require quick replacement of the tire. But all-in-all, it appears to be a good alternative to a spare!

what does being latex signify? what little i know about latex is what i learned on CSI

I don't think it really signifies anything outside of being a flexible, plastic-like substance.
